1. Keep your body well hydrated

To stay cool in hot weather, water is essential. Water cools you down, so drink plenty of water even if you don't feel thirsty. Commercially available vitamin water or sports drinks such as Powerade and Gatorade are fine too, but unless you're interested in replenishing lost vitamins or electrolytes post-workout, there's no need to go out of your way to drink them.
The best way to know if you are hydrated is to look at the color of your urine. Anytime your urine is darker than pale yellow, it means you're getting dehydrated and need to rehydrate.
Avoid sugary drinks, such as soda. No diet soda either. They reduce the body's ability to store water. Alcoholic beverages, coffee, and caffeinated beverages should also be avoided because they have a natural diuretic effect.

2. Don't wait until you are thirsty to drink water

Drink plenty of water before doing any activity. Failure to hydrate in time may cause body cramps. This is one of the symptoms of a fever attack.
Remind yourself to drink plenty of water in the following ways.
Invest in a durable yet portable water bottle or pouch that you can fill with water from any safe tap or water dispenser when you're done.
Carry a bottle of chilled water with you. The water is still solid when you leave the house, but from the moment you take it out of the freezer, the surrounding heat starts to melt it. Wrap the water bottle in a towel so that the condensation of water vapor does not wet the rest of the bag.

3. Eat foods that cool your body

You can stay cool by eating the right food. Choose to eat salads, fresh foods, vegetables and fruits. There is an English idiom called "as cool as a cucumber", although the real meaning is "calm and composed", but literally it means "cool as a cucumber". This side reflects that the water content of cucumber is close to 100%, which can replenish water and help the body cool down.
When the weather is hot, try to avoid meat and high-protein foods. They increase metabolic heat production and cause the body to lose water.
As counterintuitive as it may sound, eating chili peppers may help cool the body down. They cause the body to sweat, which in turn lowers body temperature.
Eating smaller meals can also help lower core body temperature. The more you eat, the harder your body has to work to digest food and generate more metabolic calories.

4. Cook food without an oven or stove

Eat foods that don't require cooking or heating. If you must cook, it is best to use a microwave rather than a stove or oven to trap cold air in the house and maintain a cool temperature. For example, you can microwave frozen vegetables and canned soups instead of cooking them on the stove.
It is especially suitable for cold soup on a hot day. If you haven’t tried it yet, give it a try while the weather is hot! Cold soups are also often very nutritious and offer health benefits.
Cool off with homemade popsicles, smoothies, frozen fruit, frozen yogurt and other cool treats.
